Join us for this super out-of-the-box experience of the Split city & its gems! Led by our fabulous new collaborator Paula, this is no ordinary walk – it’s a creative interactive tour through movement, sound and artistic expression.
You’ll get the chance to learn a little bit about the rich history of Split in a fun, creative, & interactive way.
We will take a stroll through city center and stop at some famous sights. Once there, we’ll engage in some movement and sound exploration, or perhaps some spontaneous improv that includes artistic forms such as literature and poetry, theater plays, and body balancing. These carefully chosen historical sights will each serve as a springboard for our inner journey of improvisation, creativity and self-discovery.
(What we find out about our creative selves can be shared later in an informal gathering over a refreshing drink.)
Note: This is not a classic guided tour. The tour focuses on artistic improvisation rather than stories from history of Split. Please be prepared to express yourself through sound, movement, and maybe even in written form! Relax, let go, and let your creativity shine through you in whatever way it needs to. Some stories from Split’s past will be brought to live and will serve as a basis for exploring our own present-day dynamics.
MEETING POINT: Will be given upon registration.
TOUR STOPS: Grgur Ninski statue, Marko Marulic statue, Peristil, Vestibul, the Croatian National Theater, and many more local points of interest.
YOUR PASSWORD: “No expectations” – get ready to be surprised!
PLEASE NOTE that all of our events have a minimum and a maximum capacity to make sure that we keep the groups intimate enough to learn & share freely. With that in mind, we ask that you please place your reservations by noon the day of the workshop, so we can ensure that everything is ready to go. Tickets will not be sold on location.
